Theres just something about ayato falling for itto first, falling harder, and being the reason their relationship wouldn't work out in the end. Like the first time they met itto called him my bro ayato and i can see ayato being like "*tucks hair behind ear* your bro?" then "god i fucking love you" to "no please im sorry- please! I never wanted to hurt you. I was selfish i know!" Giggling and kicking my feet rn

-itto gives more gifts than ayato does

okay look this is more because i think itto would be like "This stone is heart shaped:D" and gives it to ayato. Every little cute trinket he finds he gives it to ayato. A cherry blossom thay fell on him? Gift for ayato. Crystal core after accidentally catching a crystal fly? To ayato, with a letter of his feeling when he thought he killed it.

-itto calls ayaka "sis"

He calls ayaka "sis" to match him calling ayato "babe." Only rlly developed after him and ayato started dating. Plus points he says "sis in law"

"hey sis in law, do you know where my bro is?"

"HEYY SIS! so i saw you always have your fan around and i thought itd be nice if i made you one!"

Methinks ayato doesn't know what to do with his hands when hes not in his usual office or other professional setting. So when with itto, ayato just grabs at his horns. This is plausible in every context
