Ā Ā He noticed Aislinnās pained wince and his frown grew larger. Right. She was totally not in very much pain. A new wave of guilt assailed the leader. He should be more careful! He was inflicting more pain to her! That was why Leo would never make a very good medic. He tended to blame himself if he happened to injure the person he was working on.Ā FeelingĀ as though he had finished hisĀ work, the leader sat back and wiped the sweat from his brows.Ā āI think Iām done for now. They do look rather bad, now that Iāve seen them up close.ā Up until that point, Donatello had been doing majority of the bandaging. Leonardo had simply watching and offering assistance.
Ā Ā His vision suddenly started to blur from lack of sleep. He sighed in irritation then lifted his hand to rub his eyes.Once his vision focused, he noticed how terrible the bandages had come out. Perhaps he truly did need to get some sleep. If Donnie saw them, then Leo was certain that heād get scolded. It was too late for Leonardo to correct them though. He didnāt want to put Aislinn in any more discomfort than she was already in.Ā Leonardo, can you do ANYTHING right? He thought to himself angrily.
Ā Ā It wasnāt just Leonardoās fault either. He knew that Hun had sent his goons on his student. At that particular moment, his anger became redirected onto Hun. Leo happened to agree with Raphaelās anger for a change. Hun deserved to be taught a lesson. One heĀ wouldnāt forget in a hurry. Heād wanted to go out immediately, but Splinter had forbidden it.Ā He had told them not to go out until Aislinn had healed. It had frustrated Leonardo, but heĀ understoodĀ his reasonings. How could they take care of her if they had injuries as well?
Ā Ā Hun neednāt worry for long. Once Aislinn got better, the four turtles would be teaching him not to mess with their student. Whether their Sensei agreed with them getting revenge or not. Heād not allow for Hun to think he could take his anger out on a teenager. A teenager that had got innocently pulled in the middle of the turtleās dispute. Sure, she had wanted to, but Leonardo didnāt think it right for her to get hurt. But hadnāt they been teens when theyād first fought as well?
Ā Ā His fretting was not subdued.Ā āI just wanted to make sure, Aislinn. I know how protective a parent can be.ā He thought of his Sensei, whom would die for his sons. Leonardo realized that he could be rather protective as well.
Ā Ā He snorted about her comment about the medicine. He could lecture her, but she had it bad enough. Instead, he fetched the pain medicine from Donās medicine cabinet. Then he fetched her a glass of water. After a few moments, he returned to where heād been treating Aislinn.Ā āHere.ā He handed the medicine and water over to her. He prayed that heād given her enough water. For his hand had been shaking the entire time.
Ā Ā He frowned upon hearing her joke. Sheād been spending way too much time with Michelangelo. Leo had told the youngest that his positiveĀ attitude would eventually spread to Aislinn. It lookedĀ like heād been right... for the most part. Once her seriousness returned, the leader cracked an exhausted smile. Maybe, without them even noticing, sheādĀ inheritedĀ all of theirĀ personalities. Then again, it might be hisĀ exhaustionĀ speaking.
Ā Ā āI know that youāll be fine. You have Donnie taking care of you.ā He murmured.Ā āBut I cannot keep myself from feeling guilty. You see, I-ā His voice broke off with a yawn.
