Hey so, I need help. I wouldn’t normally ask something like this on the interwebs but uh, things are gonna be desperate.

So I am rather sick, not really sure with what exactly because something fucky happened with my insurance and I had to stop seeing the doctor. But I have been ill enough that I haven’t been able to work and had to quit my job because of it.

Along that vein, I’m getting a divorce. I am currently completely dependent on my soon to be ex husband, and need to move. I am fortunate that it is a mutual agreement, I’m not in a hostile environment. He and I both agreed this is for the best and he has been nice enough to allow me to stay for a while longer while I raise money to move.

For personal reasons, going back to my parents house isn’t really an option for me, and a very close friend of mine offered for me to go live with him... the unfortunate part of this is either way I’ll need to move across the country as both parents and friend live on the East Coast while I’m out here in California.

I have a kitty named Mr. Cat, and he’s my child, I don’t want to have to give him up in order to move. I also do have some bulky valuables, but all my worldly possessions could fit into the back of a pickup truck. That’s why I need so much, I’ll need money to rent a car and money to survive off of until I can get a job in my new location.

I will also be contributing to my own fund here of course, I’m taking all sorts of temp jobs trying to save up as well, despite being sick.

Anything, anything at all, even a dollar, helps me get to where I need to be.

I am also a freelance designer and painter, if you wish to commission me and pay me via the money pool, I’m totally fine with that as well. I am pretty proficient with watercolor.

Figured I’ll come out publicly with this, I’ve begun a new campaign! For those who don’t know, I’ve been a DM for years and have run various campaigns. This is my first experience running a campaign in the Ravenloft world setting, and so far it’s been tons of fun.

I am doing a candy exchange with my friend over in Canada!

When I last talked to my friend, we realized just how many different candies and sweets there were in our different countries. We want to try the candies we have in our respective countries! We wanna share this with our families for the holidays, so we are aiming for Christmas.

This is going to be fairly expensive due to how much shipping costs internationally. Something that weighs half a pound costs $20-30 to send to Canada, now imagine it being a 5-10 pound box of candy!

We are looking at about $150-200 shipping cost. The candy isn’t expensive, so I’m not worried about that part. I’ve set the goal to $300 just in case the shipping is even more expensive than I originally thought. 

Any money left over will go towards buying more candy or sweets to send over!

If you guys like the idea, please up vote me here on the subreddit. If you don’t have an account it’s super easy to make and you can totally delete it afterwards if you don’t like it.
