I am doing a candy exchange with my friend over in Canada!

When I last talked to my friend, we realized just how many different candies and sweets there were in our different countries. We want to try the candies we have in our respective countries! We wanna share this with our families for the holidays, so we are aiming for Christmas.

This is going to be fairly expensive due to how much shipping costs internationally. Something that weighs half a pound costs $20-30 to send to Canada, now imagine it being a 5-10 pound box of candy!

We are looking at about $150-200 shipping cost. The candy isn’t expensive, so I’m not worried about that part. I’ve set the goal to $300 just in case the shipping is even more expensive than I originally thought. 

Any money left over will go towards buying more candy or sweets to send over!

After watching countless adventurous candy (from other countries) tasting videos on youtube I became very curious as to how different candy from different places tasted.

Well mostly Korean and Japanese candy tbh (where i live rn they dont sell or at least i dont remember seeing any) but I wouldn’t mind candy from other places too…

But then ordering and stuff seems such a hassle and its not so fun….

Sssooo; would anyone like to do a candy exchange with me?

You could buy a huge assortment of candy and mail it to me and I do the same for you. We could exchange reactions and stuff idk whatever you want. (you could also be a doll and pay for shipping - lol that was a joke but if you wanna I’m NOT complaining - I’ll most likely pay for most of the shipping my way and like half of whoever is willing to take me up on this crazy offer.)

It’s been a while, but what do you say to a small candy exchange? I’m not really rolling in cash right now, but I thought maybe a tiny one would be fun :D

So here’s what I was thinking:

-Only as much candy as can be mailed in a C6 envelope (114 x 162 mm, sorry Americans, you’ll have to do the unit conversion yourselves)

-I can afford to send out maybe five tiny packages, so I have to limit the number of people to that
