So I did a thing and it's finally happening!! I got tickets to see one of my favorite artists and songwriters that I have admired since I was 12 years old!! That girl wearing a long, off the shoulder, green dress singing "Teardrops On My Guitar" was the first music video I saw of hers and I take pride in having the opportunity to share a song with my boyfriend that's special to us. Coincidentally, there's a song called "Our Song" that would make the most sense, but "our song" is actually "Love Story" because it describes us perfectly well. We're excited to go to our first concert together and it's been nearly 8 years since we got together, but our time is now! It's the best Christmas present I could have ever given myself and my love! July 28th... here we come!! xo

I am finally getting my bone marrow transplant!! It was first scheduled over 3 months ago and then canceled due to me needing a new donor. Then it was scheduled for the end of June, just to be canceled because my donor was from Europe and did not pass a test right away. To FINALLY being scheduled in a few weeks. They promise me that there's nothing that could stop it this time and I am so excited to get this over with and move on with my life!
