skin/tone studies. divida helped a lot with giving the one on the left some kick with her texture hack :P she's amazing, i tell ya.

these are some more studies i did, around the same time as the last ones. top left is glitter/sequins, top right is satin (which i think came out a little crusy) and bottom is velvet. i do a lot of studies for fashion from runway stuff, and fall/winter tends to be my favourite because it's less... weird. more wearable in daily life, lol. i have a giant pinterest collection for outfit stuff for inspiration which i occasionally draw from, too, but that's rare.

i very occasionally do studies since i prefer to draw from imagination, but i readily admit they help me out tons. these are from ages ago, i forget exactly when.
