I never understood why they had carina day she always wanted to be pregnant especially as she never showed interest in kids on greys? I get you can change ur mind but they made carina act like wanting kids was her life mission and if they were gonna have them adopt in the end it made no sense why they'd have her say that? I swear this show just made things harder for itself for no reason bc if it wasnt for that they could've had them stop at liam?
I feel like I answer some version of this like every few weeks lol but obviously things changed for Carina once she met Maya and she wanted to have kids with her. I don't know why some people can't accept that as an answer. Maybe they went a little heavy on her saying it's a dream of hers to be pregnant and it didn't help that they dragged out the process for so long so it made Carina express this over and over but if anything came out of nowhere/was abrupt it was the whole adopting situation and that was clearly because the show was ending and they wanted to pay off showing Maya and Carina as moms after having them discuss and plan it for two full seasons at that point. Why should they have to 'stop at Liam'? Just because they decided to adopt him doesn't mean they had to forget all the other plans they had and that includes Carina being pregnant and them continuing to grow their family.
