im not gonna claim theres absolutely nothing weird about some of the cases mentioned but missing411 is so funny because the ex-cop dude author’s criteria for the cases is like. mostly literally stuff thats either 1) factors that make it less likely for someone to survive while stranded (children, the elderly) and thus bound to be disproportionately common, 2) shit thats so common that it is literally bound to appear in a huge portion of cases missing in national parks (near bodies of water, near berry fields, near rock fields, with a dog),
