Re-watching I saw the tv glow and I can confirm that its still an amazing piece of art

Watching clips of Angels in America, two different versions of the bench scene, and their argument of if cats or dogs are better - it feels like they’re talking about themselves somehow, and the end reveal seems to solidify that, Louis is frantic and loud and Prior keeps it together in his own way for as long as he can and damn, I’ve written plays before but if I could write a play like that. Where the dialogue is so trivial and loose and off topic and yet it keeps the play moving and understand that every little quip and line is important to the story in its own way. It hurts my heart a little watching it. There are so many layers and themes.
