Stayed up til midnight and STILL did not read or write
Sigh
WIP WednesdayThursday
I saw a post by @thedissonantverses that said if I saw the post I was tagged with Full Pressure(that was my understanding at least but it could also be my sleep deprived brain) so since I only just got back into writing and don't have anything to offer yet, it was mentioned that the wip could be anything. Sooooo, does this count as art? I'm sure its a fiber art at least?
I offer you Assan the Amigurumi Griffon who currently still doesn't have a leg to stand on but he's getting there 🤣
He's a weird combination between accuracy to his in-game model but also trying to maintain a level of chibi style about him that my other Plushies do, with rounded hands and feet often seen in a chibi art style.
Never made a griffon before. I've made dragons, which is great because I plan to hopefully pose Taash next to the one I made ages ago, but Griffons are a whole other thing to try and make.
He's been an interesting challenge for sure.
Be kind cuz this is the first animation i actually end and not give up mid video 😞...ignore its lowkey bad...AND HAPPY HALLOWEEN
How do we feel about them chat

Just watched the first spider man movie. This shit is great someone shouldget on this
Hey, I'd like to ask you something about your videos, when you record, both the video and your lines? How do you do it? What's your process? Record video and do lines first? Or the other way around? I want to do a drawing video where I talk about stuff and that.
for a while i had a really good system where i could spend a week doing the drawings and writing, and then the next week recording the voice over and editing, i was lucky to have a job that wasnt too tiring and had a consistent schedule
but yeah i do a lot of brainstorming with milanote and pinterest, gathering ref images and making notes of important aspects i want to include. then i draw, i record my screen using obs, and i'll usually write out a script after i finish drawing
then i record the voiceover in audacity. i do a lot of takes for most parts, then once im done i go in and edit it down, removing any duplicate lines and cutting out any "um"s or breathing sounds
finally i bring everything into davinci resolve and smush it all together!
