My goodies from the 2019 Fashion Royalty Convention are here! One of my best doll friends went to the convention and kept an eye out for things that I wanted, honestly best person ever lol
First up is a grail of mine, Rock Candy Rufus (aka the only real Rufus Blue ever made don’t @ me IT)
When my friend DM’d me a picture of her from the room sales, I SCREAMED lmfao. I’ve wanted her for years and she rarely goes up for sale online, and is usually 200$+++, my friend found her loose but mint, in her original outfit with the gel still in her hair for 60$. WOW. Her pleather skirt was peeling but I didn’t care about her outfit, I only wanted her white Twiggy tank top and let my friend keep her jacket and tights.
She’s perfect, ugh. Hair is rooted super thick, face paint is flawless, and her joints are ridiculously tight despite her age. It’s like she’d never even been used. Some chips on her nails but idgaf.
And the second girl, from the actual Convention line, Young Romantic Poppy Parker:
This doll was right up my alley; neutral makeup and long hair. Of course I wanted her lol
Her outfit is beautifully made and embroidered but I don’t love dresses and it’s kind of weird looking imo, so I’m selling it. I just wanted the nude doll and her extra hands/legs
She’s STUNNING. Obviously her hair is getting flat ironed to high heaven, the curls are cute and all but can you imagine her with a long wavy middle part and a white button up shirt? YES.
My only qualm is that her parting is very short- it only goes to about the middle of her head, but the rooting is pretty thick so I don’t think it’ll be a huge issue. If it is, her hair is a single color so it won’t be difficult to order some hair and extend the parting.
I also really wanted the Welcome Agnes and Paris Runway Giselle, but considering that I have another FR grail on the way, I had to cut myself off for now.
Very very happy with my two new ladies and cannot wait to style them. NGL Rufus is the one I love most lol she’s just so cool
