So......we decided to make it back home today despite the fact that we still technically have one more day off tomorrow, but given the weather forecast we thought it made more sense to ride just one day home in the rain rather than stretch it out over two days....right?! Anyway, I'm glad we did make it home today because there is so much to do tomorrow to get ready for the work week ahead and also to get my head back into work mode! There are no photos from the road today (rainy ride home on I-5 is less than interesting or exciting, to say the least, and therefore my camera was safely stowed away on the bike), so here is a photo from two days ago of Goodpasture Covered Bridge, my favourite covered bridge in Oregon, on Hwy 126 getting close to Eugene. Thanks to all who followed along our journey over the past 8 days......I just went through nearly 1400 photos I took with my camera on the bike (deleting about 100) and my head is spinning!
