yoooo I'm late to the news but congrats on losing a knife fight on purpose!!! I lucked out not getting drainage but I'm hoping you're not getting too much itchiness either. my surgeon made sure to tell me to keep up with antihistamines alongside the pain relief cuz of all the nerves still trying to register that sensation. maybe a neck pillow would help with sleeping, though? I had that (mostly to keep the cats from sleeping on my neck) and a chest pillow to keep them off the stitches.
I'm not actually having any trouble sleepin haha! It's more like physically there's only so many hours my body Can Stay Asleep you know? My neck pillow has been primarily being used to prop up my headphones bc I like to listen to voices as I'm sleeping and I can't just play my youtube videos out loud while I'm sleeping right outside of my roommate's open door lol. Good reminder on the antihistamines though I have been completely forgetting about it
