Little rant under the cut (please dont read it, I just need to let it out)

Tired of not having money. Tired of my own mum saying she doesn't have any money. Tired of growing up in a poor country with a poor family, having my faith put on that " if I finish uni I will have a high paying job otherwise I will be broke and homeless" Tired of. Being guilty of spending my own money on food. Just. Im so angry and tired.

been obsessivly thinking about hybrid capabilities of all of the species here and I made this;

Humans/ elves- yes (25% percent change of magic)

Humans/ orcs- No

Humans/ dwarves- yes (50/50 chance of magic)

Orcs/ elves- No

Orcs/ humans- No

Orcs/ dwarves- Yes (always have magical children)

Elves/ dwarves- Yes (always magical)

As for Ashen species mixing in with all of this is a whole other subset of fascinating as from what I can tell they all seemed to be some kind of human animal hybrid and that’s it’s own ballpark I don’t really know how to tackle but is so cool to think of!

Also also I have a theory that humans are a subspecies of elves with a huge gap branch off from their lines, but orcs and dwarves developed and evolved on their own parallel to them.

The ratio of which species can have hybrid children and which can’t and how the magic mixes into all of them is so fascinating to me, I genuinely wish this was a more popular book so I could scroll through Tumblr for hours reading everyone’s take on these characters…
