DEEP in my feelings about kids from yesterday and then ray comes in with the steel chair
I have had a distinctly trying day in which nothing that bad happened but everything annoying happened. And I kept dropping things, which resulted, among other things, in smacking a hair claw full force into the shower wall by batting it out of the air in an attempt to catch it. At 7:15 am.
Sorry neighbors. At least it paired well with me losing it at 10 pm and shouting "Fuck you, CLOSE. YOU ARE A DOOR." the tenth time I found the fridge door hanging slightly open as I was trying to make dinner and feed myself.

👑: Danny’s not the King. There is no overwhelmingly accepted “the king of ghosts” or an absolute monarchy. Pariah Dark was very imposing, influential, powerful, you name it, but he was more of an emperor than the godlike authority many make him out to be. The crossroads of infinite realms doesn’t really have want or need of a ruler, you know? It’s more of an honor culture (think wild west).
Danny didn’t know all of this when a bunch of ghosts converged on him to inform him of his impending ascension to the throne. Nope. He actually thinks he’s destined to take Pariah Dark’s throne.
In reality, Pariah Dark’s influence was locked away again with him in the sarcophagus. Turns out Danny has a cult following in the Ghost Zone, and his defeat of PD got them hyped up enough to finally approach him. It’s a relief that he doesn’t have to be king of anything but extremely concerning that there’s practically a new religion in the GZ revering him. Suddenly Skulker doesn’t seem so creepy
🎶: Danny couldn’t carry a tune in a bucket with a lid on it. The Ghostwriter uses this to his advantage when he gets out of prison and exacts his revenge in his thrilling musical sequel (it’s very BTVS “Once More With Feeling”)
