please, rewatch those movies. watch them honestly, without all the extraneous explanations and headcanons, and realize they are just as shoddy, if not more.

it is— at least for me! i'm really just a sucker for the whole found family trope and when i found out that there was a new movie that's pretty much that sprinkled w/ some immortality, i was just like, "HELL YEAH!" i have to warn you, though, because it gets pretty bloody and gore-y, so it might not be everyone's cup of tea! i mean, there are more things to like about it ( literally all of nile's character !!! i love her so much !!! also charlize theron's haircut 👁👁 — i also don't want to share too much because it's a bit spoiler-y, i guess? ), but generally i love it for the whole found family trope of it all. also just an additional note: it's based on the comics but don't read the comics; it's called self care😌♥️
