“Since my childhood, subconsciously I've been drawing my subjects as solitary individuals. I’ve always loved observing people as individuals and I’ve always been interested in human psychology which is one of my biggest sources of inspiration. I’m really excited to be able to finally share this cover artwork I made for Issue 9 of Firewords Quarterly. Firewords is the anthology of fiery fiction & poetry brought to life with visual flair. The theme was “Perspective” and so the figure is surrounded by memories, thoughts, and experiences which shape a person’s point of view. Melting some of that away, and glimpsing beyond the self, people are able to change their perspective. It’s a challenge I face each day.
