"Happily Married" (I can't actually imagine it at all and it makes me curious. If you want to of course)

It will be divergent from the movies and not fit with Ragnarƶk and possibly not Infinity War either.
If anyone would have told Bruce that he and Steve Rogers would not just be boyfriends but married a few years ago, he would have laughed at them. It would all have seemed so absurd, but life sometimes worked in truly mysterious ways.
Steve had found him at the Raft when he came there to rescue his friends, something none of them had known and had it not been for Clintās watchful eyes, he might still be there. To make a long story short, Bruce had been in bad shape, really bad shape, and Steve had silently sworn to make sure Bruce got well again. Physically, he was healed within three months, but mentally, it took a little longer, but Steve was there and they ended up sharing more than either of them had probably done before, or in a very long time. It was Steve who started it, with telling Bruce a secret every time the scientistās past or memories of his captivity haunted him, having noticed that sharing had been a way to make it easier for Bruce to open up as well and accept support without apologizing every tenth second.
During this time, they grew closer and Bruce wasnāt even sure when their friendship had grown into something more and their first kiss had been awkward to say the least, but as they both realized their feelings were mutual, they slowly began to relax and enjoying this closer kind of intimacy.
That was about two years ago and now they were married since almost a month. It was still an odd, but good, experience and Bruce was unconsciously fidgeting with his ring as he looked out the window. Thinking back on what had been, he suddenly felt strong arms around his shoulders, pulling him close. They stood like that for quite some time, both watching as the sun set with Steve humming on a tune. Bruce could feel the vibrations from the manās throat and chest against his back, which was incredibly soothing.
āI⦠I think Iām ready to get back in the field again,ā Bruce eventually said and he could feel the frown that appeared on the other manās face. āAre you sure about that?ā He thought for a couple of seconds and then nodded. āYes, Iām sure, if you ever need Hulk, Iām ready to assist again.ā Bruce was turned around, facing Steve and he could see the worry in his face. āIāll be okay, Steve.ā It didnāt seem like Steve fully believed him, but he did nod before pulling the scientist closer again.
Once again, there was silence, but this time it was Steve who broke it. āI finished the drawing today. Do you want to see?ā Bruce looked up at him, a warm smile on his lips. āYou know I always want to see your creations.ā The praise made Steve almost look embarrassed, but he took Bruceās hand and lead him into the room that worked as his studio. There on an A2 paper was the most amazing drawing of them both, Steve reading a book with Bruceās head in his lap, a hand in mid-motion running through the scientistās dark curls. Simple, domestic and so filled with love. It was hard to imagine that the drawing was of Captain America and the man who could turn into a raging green giant. Bruce squeezed his hand a little. āItās⦠perfect.ā And it symbolized them both so well, because they might have āsuperpowersā, but strip that away and you have two rather regular guys and their love for each other, but a love that was relaxed and comforting, not demanding constant attention. Yes, this truly was more than Bruce had ever dreamt he could get and it was, for lack of a better word, perfect.
