Men have held the pedestal too long
Women deserve to star in trashy superhero movies!
I like how Atlus realized that they hadn't given Akechi a special outfit for Dancing Star Night and instead of just sticking with the old dancewear, they went "Everyone else got a new outfit. So Akechi. Um. Akechi gets to look like a 1980s pimp."
Mentally, i draw a lot
OH MY GOD ROWENA MY LOVE I SCREAMED

gotta bitch about instagram for a second
my last few acotar/tog posts have gotten significantly less impressions (views) despite having the same hashtags as my older posts that got big engagement via hashtags. generally more than 50% of my impressions on fanart posts come from people viewing the hashtags who find my art there, which makes sense, that’s where fans go to find art/fandom stuff!
but apparently instagram is shady as fuck and if you use too many of the same hashtags on your posts, it’s possible that the algorithm suppresses your post showing in those hashtags. i get that it’s intended for spam, but this fucking hurts artists. of course i’m going to hashtag similar things on tog posts and similar things on acotar posts - i’m not doing anything wrong by posting frequent fanart content of the same book series!
all of my tags are relevant. i don’t even post once every day. so why is instagram screwing me over here?
and to be clear, this has nothing to do with just wanting likes or attention - my art is my career. exposure isn’t validation, it’s business, and when instagram messes with that it hurts my actual job prospects for commissions and the such.
