You don’t seem to like the actual Lou Ferrigno Jr, so why don’t you post about an oc character instead.

*gently takes all the apostrophe keys away from the star wars fandom until we stop strewing them meaninglessly in every single made up word*
Five minutes later…
*gently gives them back because the whole fandom really was being held together by the over use of apostrophes and it immediately collapsed without them*
Okay. It's definitely my autistic ass but I really hate the phrase "Show don't tell" in writing. Like. I understand it. But my brain won't stop being like "They're both telling. It's words on a page. You can't not tell."
So, I'm offering my significant overcomplication of a very simple premise: Illustrate, don't articulate.
It's literally just show don't tell but in a way that my brain won't yell at me for. And also it sounds cooler. But with illustrate, it suggests more of a flourish that encourages me to use little details to paint the big picture, where articulate is overtly stating The Thing.
Hope that people enjoy my exhausted brain vomit :)
