If your travels bring you to Fresno, donât miss Chester Arnoldâs retrospectiveââReports to the Contraryââat the Fresno Art Museum (catalogue forthcoming). The exhibition, organized under the direction of Michele Ellis Pracy, is a survey of five decades of Chesterâs powerful and at times darkly humorous paintings (and a few sculptures too). The exhibit is flanked by exhibits of Diego Rivera âs work and Andy Warholâs print portfolios. Thanks to a program to support museums funded by Bank of America, entrance to the museum is free.
