Okay so I’ve been a fan of Full Sail University since like 2010 and I actually was in the Game Design field for a year (online) and have been attempting to switch majors. I dropped out cause of financial issues and I re-apply because I finally have said financial issues resolved, I have not been contacted AT ALL. I think I applied again back in... February? March? For a March start date?
Beginning to think I should just apply to other online colleges at this point. I can’t afford to go to a campus because
1. Nearest college is two blocks from my house but literally offers nothing more than nursing and maybe a few other degrees that are no higher than an associate’s degree and definitely don’t get you out of this town.
2. The nearest college besides this one is an hour drive there, an hour drive back. I don’t have the money for gas. If I were to live in the dorms, I wouldn’t be able to survive since I have social anxiety and have a multitude of health problems that make things like that impossible.
3. I prefer online education since I can work at my own pace and I won’t be overburdened by work, but why is that Full Sail makes it so damned hard to apply? The first time I did, I had to send at least four different emails including pictures of my diploma, then had an issue with my hyphenated name since I go by one of the names, not by both, and then had an issue cause FAFSA likes to screw with people.
I don’t know. It’s got me really worked up and I’m not wanting to go to another college but I’m beginning to look.
Don’t worry Full Sail. Even though I can hate you sometimes I still appreciate the classes you offer as well as this damned fine laptop.
