Is it bad that I have an irrational hatred of people keeping wild animals as pets?
Like, I’ve always hated that Floppa guy even when nobody else seemed to, I once watched a video about someone who had a pet serval, and that made me irrationally upset, and me and one of my friends once got into an hour-long conversation about how much we both hated it.
as a reminder for Jerry's birthday, if you reblog or post something that's about jerry Cantrell, tag your jerry or I'll start brutally mauling you.
For fuck sake… “Xander this”, “Xander that”
This hatred of one of the two main male characters in the whole show is irrational and hypocritical.
There are characters that do far worse than he does.
Anya’s killed so many men.
Willow’s killed 2 men.
Willow cheated on Oz with Xander.
Why the hell is it always Xander that gets the slander?
It only ever seems to be him brought up when it comes to the flaws, faults and failures of characters.
I’m sick of seeing it. Change your damn tune or at least blast it at other characters as well.
The whole “he treats women like shit” excuse only flies if you also acknowledge women treat him like shit too. Otherwise it’s biased and ridiculous.
And yeah, I say this as WOMAN myself.
Every time Xander is talked about it’s like he is suddenly the only “did a bad thing” character on the show. When that’s not true at all.
I’m just done with the Xander slander now. I can acknowledge that the guy can be a god damn idiot. But I won’t acknowledge it more than everyone else in the show that does idiotic things can be because it’s not the truth. The character is nowhere near as awful as this fucking fandom makes him out to be.
NOWHERE NEAR.
Just straight up admit who it is you’re really mad at because it’s not Xander. I know it’s not Xander.
It’s Whedon. And in that case - I’m with you there.
But geez leave this character alone. Seriously. It’s infuriating seeing all the hate and slander for Xander.
Let’s share our irrational hatred of things (and by that I mean I’m gonna share my irrational hatred of things):
I feel really bad about this one but I hate gifs. Like any gifs, they bother me so much. It might be because I live in a place with shitty internet so they never load and it’s annoying as hell but I just don’t like them at all.
I respect the hell out of gif makers because that shit looks painful to do. Like lighting and all that shit looks like a pain in the ass. Kudos to y’all, I’m just ungrateful I guess

if I see one of you little bitches irrationally hating on Sansa this season I want you to know in advance that everything she's ever done was out of either näivity, self-preservation, or under duress.
and it's not her fault she was raised around users and manipulators. just as Arya was surrounded by killers and learned to do so herself, Sansa learned how to use situations to her advantage as a means of keeping herself alive. that does NOT make her weak or mean thank you for coming to my TED Talk.
Agreed
At the risk of sounding extremely pretentious, there is something I really like about the chorus of Beck's "Loser." There's something very sarcastic to it. It reminds me of people that hated me and how I couldn't figure out why those same people hated me so much. To me, the chorus is response to what looks like irrational hatred from my perspective, and in turn, gives an irrational response. I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me? In other words, "You hate me with a fiery passion but we both know you can't do anything about it and that will just make you hate me more and that amuses me."
