hi! I know the prompt I know that would make me feel better is Tom helping his significant other when they're sick. thank you for doing this, ive been facing a chronic illness all week and then emotional stress adding on to it, its been rough. so i really appreciate this idea.
okay so Tom is actually the cutest, most helpful sweetie pie when you’re sick. He hates seeing you miserable so he wants to do everything he can to make you feel better. You’re basically not allowed to leave the bed until you’re better. He brings the big TV in from the living room so you can watch your shows and he’s constantly checking to make sure you still have plenty of tissues and fluids. Once you started to stand up and he was like “no!! what do you need, baby, I’ll do it!” and you were like “Tom I need to pee pls chill a little.”
He even googles how to make chicken soup for you because you deserve better than Campbell’s!!
When you run out of the popsicles you like he goes out to buy you more and then comes home with like 10 different medicines because he wasn’t sure what would work??
He literally puts cough drops in a candy dish beside your bed.
But most importantly he snuggles you so much. The minute you make grabby hands at him he’s there letting you snuggle into his chest and pet his hair. He doesn’t care if you cough on him a little, he just sits there and watches Wheel of Fortune with you and pets your hair. He doesn’t complain when he’s too warm under your mountain of blankets.
Being sick sucks balls but it sucks less when you have a sweet, loving boy to help take care of you. <3
the winters in minnesota are NOT cozy. theyre rough and frozen, especially in the north. i lived there and we got stuck in the polar vortex and it was -20 plus a wind chill, so i couldnt even walk to get food.

the mental picture is brown, dead grass. everything is frozen in frost. there’s no snow, it’s dry and cold so that everything chaps. there’s a thin layer of ice on the streams that breaks from the slightest pressure and turns to slush. mittens, big coats, seeing your breath in front of you. idek if this is a real thing (spoiled cali girl here) but if it is, any ideas where that would be??
