ugh yes. when we went to lisbon my friend said he was just gonna speak spanish to people and i was like “………….no”
It's like going to Antwerp or Bruges or whatever and trying to speak French or (God forbid) English, just don't do it. I don't understand why people want to visit a place but can't be bothered to learn to say 'gracias' or 'obrigada/o'. It's not hard to respect culture.

I did indeed find this reminder to be quite amicable :)
Nice thesaurus use Bracken. ;)

so who were you going for?
¡Por supuesto España! I was out there last time they won Euros, magic. (I was there two days after they won the World Cup too, also magic.) I just love Spain.
