Yes–the days to come are looking very good for South Africans. That is, if they can survive the present challenges:

And an ancient demigoddess hellbent on regaining her former status by preying on the blood and sweat (but mostly blood) of every human she encounters.

THE BEACON will star Obie Award-winning Kate Mulgrew (Orange is the New Black) and is directed by Marc Atkinson Borrull. It will run from September 11 to November 3, 2024.
In 'Ulster American' an actor, a director and a playwright meet up in London a day before rehearsals for the play begins. Little do they know they are not on the same page, though they read the same play.

It's a Wonderful Life: A Radio Play

What a delightful little evening. Set in a 1940s radio station, a little band of actors present the classic It's a Wonderful Life as a radio play, complete with period-appropriate commercial breaks, musical jingles, and foley work. Five actors cycle through dozens of characters, with quick hat changes for the "live studio audience" to follow along. This is one of those experiences that just puts a smile on your face for the duration. Leenya Rideout got the biggest laughs as a top-notch character actress with natural greying hair to boot. I'm such a massive fan of radio drama, and afterwards, I was both inspired to rewatch Remember WENN, and even contemplate a little Gilded Age AU for funsies. Probably won't come to anything though. But I digress.
Verdict: A Lovely Night
