*Disclaimer: I haven’t watched any of the marvel movies in a while so some of this stuff may be cannon and some may just be actual headcannon. I’ve read tons of fanfic so canon and non-canon is kind of just mushed together in my brain :)

-Steve is Irish and spoke gaelic with Mrs.Sarah Rogers throughout his childhood! I like to imagine tiny Steve sick, with his mom taking care of him and singing old Irish songs to lull him to sleep 🥺.

-Steve Rogers is definitely not a conservative. After he gets used to the future he would definitely be marching in protests and calling bigots out on twitter

-I like the Troll!steve headcannon. Just Steve messing with the other avengers and purposefully acting like a clueless innocent puppy. Then one day he thinks he’s alone in the conpound and so he’s using the tech perfectly fine and is listening to some song that has tons of cursing and Tony or Clint walk in and just *suprised pikachu face*

-Going along kind of with that last one I also like the fics where the team doesn’t actually know Steve all that well and he surprises them (usually the fics with the feels). Ex: the team not knowing Steve is Irish (except for like a select few like Natasha or smth) and him singing in Gaelic while making a recipe his ma taught him one night when he thinks everyone else is asleep, tony walking in and hearing/seeing Steve in a vulnerable state and being like “wow I gues I really don’t know him all that well” (honestly most of these came from this one fic I read- sadly I can’t remember the name but! It was good and had pre-serum irish and deaf Steve) Another Ex: The team believing all the Captain America propaganda and so they don’t try to get to know Steve Rogers and just assume they’re the same, so (same as before) they find out that Steve is Not StraightTM or that he’s been arrested before or isn’t a virgin (cue tony being mortified)(jk jk I love tony) and they’re like “????- But-???huh??”

-When Bucky gets better and un-hydra-ied, he moves in with Steve and they get back into their groove (with things being different of course since they both have their mental health issues obv). Them being in the compounds “living room” or what not and cuddled up and bantering when one of the team members comes in, sees them, and just *name.exe is not working*
