Twenty Minutes Can Change Your Life by ThatRavenclawBitch (a remix of the also wonderful A Twist in Time): maybe my all time favourite rumbelle fic. All my favourite tropes in one neat package! Just read all of her stuff actually, it's all excellent.

As far as anyelle goes, I'm relatively new to reading fic in this catagory. But I must strongly recommend anything and everything by the incomparable @beeeinyourbonnet including:

Covetous (nostelle with the tiniest hint of macelle): just the sweetest exploration of a complicated relationship

The Beginning of a New Book (bellish): Belle is on the run from a troubling past and assumes a new identity in a certain little town in the Scottish highlands

Unbowed (develle and, intriguingly and horrifyingly, ivelle): Belle is in a vulnerable position in her life and Danny is down bad.

See I feel like he would make her go. I do not see rumplestiltskin abiding by an artificial tree XD, even if such a thing might be easier with a small child around.

I picture them accumulating meaningful Christmas tree ornaments over time and fondly remember Christmases past as they decorate each year. Lord of quiet nights cuddling in the glow of the trees lights. ❤️

Workplace AU, I guess. I had one filed away and I suddenly started to think about it again this week, actually! Or maybe some sex trope, but I can’t think of one right now. Any suggestions? 👀

10 ⧽. what genre is generally the easiest or most enjoyable for you to write? which is the hardest?

Hmm. Slice of life kind of romantic things are maybe the easiest, is that a genre? XD I love it though. Hardest is any sort of action because I have a really hard time blocking out movements/spatial things like that in my head. Also I know nothing about the mechanics of fighting lol. 

17 ⧽. are there any songs you want to write a songfic for?

I have a collection of songs that give me the Rumbelle feels and I play them on repeat, no word of a lie. No Light, No Light by Florence + The Machine is so Rumbelle coded it hurts, and I know there is a very very good fanvid for it from 12 years ago (here). I’d be surprised if nobody else has swooped it up before though, so I’m going to say Oh Yes Oh Yes by Christa Couture or maybe Blindfold by Morcheeba

2 ⧽. if you could sit down and finish any completely new fic without anything stopping you (time, tiredness, etc), what would you write? tell us about it if you want!

I don’t have anything that I would need to completely write from start to finish, but I have this oneshot, which has been languishing in a half-done state for some time. It’s oh, post-first curse Rumbelle, and like most things I write it is a thinly veiled excuse to write smut XD I think it’s cute and sexy so I would very much like to get it done one of these days.

8 ⧽. what part of Tangled Threads is your favorite?

Thought long and hard about this one, and I think it’s the wedding. An EF Rumbelle wedding just makes sense, and I had a lot of fun thinking about what Belle might wear, and I LIVE for Rumple getting all gooey with emotion. Also I liked the officiant-under-duress situation that I went with. It’s pretty funny and unexpected I think, and it works!

Here's the list I have come up with more or less on the fly:

1. Scrubs (well, the first four seasons, at least. Didn't finish it. But the first four seasons are pretty good XD Made working in a hospital look cool and I know I was excited when I first donned my own pair or scrubs)

2. Breaking Bad (The adrenaline! The drama! Badass all the way through. Watched a lot of it while in the massive sleep-deprivation phase of new motherhood. Good. Times.)

3. Cowboy Bebop (Objectively the best anime I've watched. Each episode is a masterpiece, even the one with the evil clown that I watched while high for one of the first times ever. AND THE MUSIC! I'm listening to one of the songs from the soundtrack as I type this.)

4. Sex and the City (I dunno. I just like it. Watched it as I was coming into my own as a young adult. Who hasn't dreamed of a life with Kyle MacLachlan or Mikhail Baryshnikov?)

5. Once Upon a Time (could you guess? XD Another one that I started watching in a exhausted haze. Then I fell in love with the longhaired villian in suits and leather. Found the term "rumbelle". Searched for fanfiction. And the rest is history.)

My honourable mention is Sailor Moon (the classic 1990s version) because I still love it after all these years. I think I first watched the DiC dub in 1995! And I still love it (subbed now of course. I'm a sophisticated adult!)

I'm still working away at your fic but I do have an admission/apology to make. I had planned for there to be smut but now I don't think there will be. I'm so sorry! I hope you'll still like what I've done. (And maybe in the future I'll add an extra smut chapter!)

Santa, I'm as ready as I'll ever be! There are still a few last minute things to do (wrapping presents, for instance) but we have a low key holiday this year so I'm trying not to stress.

I know you said you don't decorate until closer to the big day, but I was wondering what kind of decorations do you have? What goes on your tree? What are your lights like? Do they all match or is it a free-for-all of things you like the look of?

Hi Santa! I'd love to answer this question!

I have boxes and boxes of decorations, most of them unique and heavily nostalgic. My parents passed many from my childhood along to me- basically anything that was "mine" growing up. They're all special to me, and it's like seeing old friends when I unearth them from their boxes! I've also purchased a lot of ornaments myself. I try to buy a new ornament every year for my husband and kids so that they have something special too! And then we fill it all out with generic red and silver ornaments from IKEA, that I bought when my husband (then boyfriend) and I first moved in together.

As you might imagine, my tree ends up pretty busy! It's pre-lit (LOVE THIS as a low energy person), and my kids like to set the colour pattern to alternate between all white and multicolour.

One of my fav ornaments is a misshapen star cut out of wrapping paper with the phrase, "Love the Earth" scrawled on it with marker. It's a replica of a decoration my sister made as a child, and I always teased her about it growing up (in that not-always-ice big sister kind of way). So as an adult she made me a copy and gifted it to me with a cackle. I make sure to put it up every year.
