I was super inspired from everyone drawing their MCs to match @thearcanagame spring wedding charms, I just HAD to draw Iris in a wedding down too!! Introducing my @thearcanagame MC/fan apprentice, Iris! At first I just wanted to finish her casual look but the moment I decided on her familiar (Malayan Tiger), I NEEDED to finish her masquerade look as well. A bit of a wild-child, she’s an adventurous zoologist who loves creatures and beasts of all kinds and wants nothing more than to explore the world and all its fauna. She knows a bit of magick as well and one of her favorite tricks is changing her hair color every week! I spent way too long on this but I don’t care bc she’s my baby and she is beautiful 🧡
Back home, the ‘bunga Raya’ -also known as the Hibiscus- is our national flower, and the Malayan Tiger is a symbol of our country 🌺🌺🌺

My first The Arcana fanart and it’s fanart of Halla, who belongs to @linaisbluepancake because she’s so cool, she oughta be a character in the game!!! My MC Iris is a zoologist/veterinarian and loves changing up her hair so ofc she’d be excited to meet Halla and Kekoa for obvious reasons~ I can see them getting up to all kinds of mischeif <3
Iris has encyclopedic knowledge of most animals and I learned that Kekoa was based off the Nile crocodile! Hope you like it Lina! Thank you so much for all your fabulous art <3

Here’s a little bit more about my Arcana MC, Iris!

Star sign: Leo
Height: 5′4″
Eyes: Blue
Hair: Dark Brown (but she loves changing it up with color glamour)
Romanced: Dr. Julian Devorak
Orphaned at an early age, she apprenticed under a veterinarian because she was passionate about helping animals. Her mentor practically adopted her and treated her like his own daughter as he had no children of his own.
Her collection of scars are almost always due to her getting up close and personal with animals when she shouldn’t have. She’s impulsive and pure-hearted that way.
They traveled and researched animals from all over the world. She picked up all kinds of tricks of trade as well as the zest for adventure.
At one point they came across a wounded mother tiger and her last surviving cub. The mother could not be saved and they adopted the cub. Iris named her Raya.
Soon after adopting Raya and before ending up in Vesuvia, Iris’ mentor passed away, a mixture of old age and illness.
Though still a teenager, she was fiercely independent and was able to take care of Raya and herself until they found Asra’s shop. And the rest is history.
One of the reasons she was persistent in helping the research of the Red Plague is because she had studied the Black Plague during her travels and hoped her notes could benefit the cause.
In her notes, the Black Plague was linked with infected rat fleas, which later helped them theorize the link between the Red Plague and the beetles.
She always has a notebook and quill (or several) on her at all times in case she comes across a new species and document her findings right away. You best believe she happily wrote her account of being bit by those Vampire Eels in vivid detail.

To celebrate reaching 400 followers on Instagram, I drew my MC for The Arcana, Iris, to show her thanks! She’s a cutie and I wish I could draw her more~ Also tried something different with coloring some of the lineart to give her a softer feel.
