I’ve come to an age on my path where I’ve given myself permission to honor who I am and honor me first and knowing that it is perfectly okay to be selfish. At my core I am a caring, generous, kind human being that in my earlier years I allowed people to take advantage of that. Today, I appreciate time & especially respect. If I am no longer as nice to you as I used to be, it’s probably because I have run out of tolerance and most likely the relationship is feeling very one way versus a balance of reciprocity. I have a very hard time at lying as I wear my heart (proudly) in my sleeve. If I don’t talk to you as much or smile with you as much as I used to, it took a very long list to get me where I am.
