empatheorem info.
I’ll be listing a few of Dante’s general traits for the event, if you have some ideas --- feel free to hit me up in the IM’s! I’ll try to list the most important details here.
PHYSICAL:
Despite having some of his regenerative capabilities back, along with some of his enhanced strength, he’s still an old man.
There’s going to be a lot of muscle memory, as Dante has been fighting for many, many years --- your muse might find themselves able to do things that they didn’t think possible.
Despite being an Old Man, he keeps himself in shape --- but without his full arsenal of abilities, he gets tired quickly.
PERSONALITY:
The more your muse spends on his body, the more they’ll start to be a bit more on the carefree side.
While not as much as he once was in his youth, he’s pretty friendly and extroverted.
There’s a constant feeling of self doubt and not fitting in. that’s always looming above his head, Dante’s gotten good enough at suppressing it, but at times it’s a bit much.
He does care about his friends and family though.
Tired Old Man Vibes, despite everything.
MEMORIES:
There’s mostly memories of his friends and family in Spirale, nothing too special there.
If your muse were to try to remember something else, they’d probably shift into the events of DMC5, most likely him battling demons with his brother in the depths of hell.
If your muse is more curious, then they’ll start to remember his younger years of fighting, but not too young.
Constant fighting with his older twin, Vergil --- are a constant through his memories.
Most of his childhood is blocked out, although the memory of what he last saw of his mother is still etched on his mind.
While he has a pretty clear memory, there’s always going to be a undertone of unresolved trauma, his memories are filled with death and gruesome details he’s grown numbed to, but they’re still there nonetheless.
POWERS:
Dante has obtained two of his abilities while he’s been in the city;
He has accelerated healing but only minor to moderate wounds and in only half the average time.
He can Devil Trigger to transform into a demon for up to 5 minutes, five times a day. When in this phase, strength and abilities will be boosted by 30%!
Dante’s Devil Trigger form is very noticeable, especially because he grows from 6′4 to somewhere along the lines of 7′0 to very tall.
Your muse might have some control over using devil trigger, or they may simply transform by accident! Feel free to transform as you wish.
