istg I fucking hate this stupid iphone 11 that I'm trying to fix. I get the new screen, but the touch doesn't work. I send it back. Get a new screen. Put it on. It works. But it won't actually sit flush where it's supposed to go. So I take the screen off, move the camera a smidge (idk how it moved out of place), so now the screen should fit in place. I reconnect the screen. It won't turn on. It just won't FUCKING turn on.

My best guess is I barely damaged one of the ribbon cables while trying to screw the battery connector cover back on, but that (what I assumed to be) insignificant deformation was already there when the screen worked the first time, so wtf is going on?

I'm repairing this phone for someone else. I felt bad enough about making them wait for 1 part to get delivered, sent back, and a new one sent. I don't want to make them wait for ANOTHER delivery so I can do this really simple fucking fix that keeps going wrong because the fuckass design makes it easy to accidentally fuck up a ribbon cable.

I'm so fucking done with this shit. I'll figure out what to do about it tomorrow.
