Ioryuu Morning/Night Headcanons Day 1 of Ioryuu Week2017
@ioryuu2017 Probably won’t do Headcanons for each day but here are Headcanons for Day 1. Thanks for doing this gives me an excuse to explore ships I don’t pay much attention to.
Io is a morning person through and through. He doesn’t mind getting up before the sun and making sure his stocks are where they are supposed to be before taking and shower and making a meal for himself. He gets a certain thrill out of productivity.
Ryuu isn’t really a morning person, he is better then Yufuin-senpai, but not by much. The only thing that gets Ryuu out of bed every morning is his hair that needs to be taken care of otherwise he will look like a mess the entire day.
When they are living together/married they fall into a comfortable routine of Io waking Ryuu up and the two showers together lazily before eating breakfast and sharing a good-bye kiss before going about the rest of their day.
Io doesn’t stay up late, he gets sleepy very easily and he doesn’t like his sleep schedule disrupted because it is a pain in the ass to get back on track.
Ryuu loves late nights, watching movies and staying up until the next morning but life doesn’t really support that kind of lifestyle. Ryuu is more functional late at night than he is first thing in the morning but as life goes on he grows to being more of a morning person.
Nights for them as a couple are a mix. The two enjoy sleeping and other activities. Ryuu is a cuddler from the top of his bubblegum hair to his toes. One of the joys of being in a relationship for him is that he can cuddle someone at night and wake up in their arms. Io is so warm and welcoming honestly, it’s heaven. Io never thought he’d enjoy having someone glued to his side all night but like many things with Ryuu he has grown a new understanding.
