"Y'know Io, I think you'd be fantastic on a date," Ryuu commented out of the blue without looking up from his phone. He was busy ("busy") texting his girl-of-the-week, but in all honesty, he had other things on his mind.

A pink blush crept up onto Io's face as he slammed his fingers on his keyboard at the sudden random statement, "where did that come from?!"

Ryuu shrugged as he finally glanced over at his blushy mess of a friend, "just a thought. You've never been on a date before, right?"

"No, I have not," Io emphasized, "that would only cost me money, and I just don't see it as a good investment."

Ryuu set his phone down on his desk with an overly dramatic sigh. Texting could wait, he had more pressing matters on his hands, "Io, Io, Io, you can't just see everything as dollar signs. Sometimes it's all about the experience! You gotta put the bank account to the side and just do things, you feel me?" He spoke as if he was the world's all-knowing expert on the topic of love and dating.

Io paused for a long moment, not responding to the pink boys rambling about the dating scene, when suddenly an idea flashed in his mind. With a certain knowing look in his eyes, he decided to earnestly humor his loveable friend.

"You really think I should go on a date that badly?"

"Of course I do! Haven't you been listening to a word I've been saying? Here, I can hook you up with some people; my treat," Ryuu picked up his phone again and started scrolling down his bottomless pit of a contacts list.

"No need," Io stood up from his desk and walked up to where Ryuu was sitting.

"Oh? Do you already know someone after all?" Ryuu grinned. Maybe Io wasn't a total lost cause when it came to dating after all.

"I do," in one swift motion, Io took Ryuu's left hand in his own and brought it up to his lips, "will you go out with me?" The green haired boy asked with a kiss to the back of the pinkette's hand.

Ryuu's entire face was as pink as his hair. With words failing to reach his mouth, all he could do was nod eagerly in agreement as he stared up at the other boy with sparkles in his eyes.
