Interning 9 to 5 with invisalign trays and an office bathroom sink that doesn't work is rough.

Currently eating ice cream WITH my trays in. What. (Don't worry, this violation of invisalign law has been ortho approved.) Got my IPR done today, as well as Tray 18 (couldn't get Tray 18 without IPRs.) Got four spots done total, and every single one of you amazing beautiful people who messaged me to tell me that IPRs are nothing to fear were 100000000% right. I was so panicked, I thought about calling ahead and asking if I could have novacane or laughing gas. Seriously. But it was nothing. Not even mildly annoying. And all four spots were done in less than 5 minutes. Â So thank all of you who messaged me about IPRs. You were so right, I should have known I could trust you :) HOWEVER, Tray 18 is probably the worst tray I've had since the very first one when you have no idea what you're getting into. Seriously. I have no idea why but it was SO difficult to get in, my ortho and I struggled with it for like 10 minutes. Finally we got it in and he told me I should try to stick to a soft/liquid diet tonight-- WITH my trays in. So I'm at pretty full fledged old-lady status right now, trying to mash soft foods up with my mouth without chewing. And I'm also in an incredible amount of pain with these trays. Weh. p.s. Leaving my home Saturday for an internship on the east coast. Let's see how invisalign + internship goes?
