So yesterday on the #tenthingschallenge it was #invertedtropes time! I missed it because I was tending to a sick piggie and then having a breakdown. Anyway, I'm not sure if these are the official names of these tropes but here we go, I'll give a bit of an explanation of each one. 1. Only gays left alive - by gays I mean all us Queers, everyone on the lgbtq+ spectrum. Instead of burying your gays, how about the gays are the only ones left alive? 2. I mean women are the monsters is pretty obvious right? 3. Think Beast from X-Men, god I love that Shakespeare quoting suave motherfucker. 4. Another obvious one right? 5. Instead of the Monster being the weird thing, the human is the freaky being in the realm of monsters. 6. This villain ain't explaining shit and they're not stupid enough to get caught either. 7. Two main protagonists who go through hell and back and have great chemistry you say. Normally they'd get together I hear you say, not for this trope. Our hero is already very much in love with their nerdy tech geek who's mostly on the sidelines. 8, 9, 10. Again I think these are all pretty obvious... 🤣 Oh and I skipped day 16 because.... 10 zoom backgrounds?
