Honestly... I knew Dinah merged willingly, but I can't help but feel so damn sad she's gone. Yah she could be kinda weird, but we where friends. House mates. Even if she didn't know she was an alter, she was still family. I know Liv & her therapist are all happy about the merge... but I'm not. What if that happens to me one day? I don't want to intigrate. I don't want to merge. I want to keep existing damn it. I just feel like shit dude. Ha. Liv & Teresa are usually the sad ones, but here I am pissed off I didn't get to at least say goodbye and sad because I miss her. Fuck today man. - Amanda

So My therapist was correct (of course) when he said that the reason I was probably having so many fragments come out was due to there ether being a merge or a split. A merge happened. Some of you might remember an alter named Dinah (pronounced Diah) posting about New Orleans and Jazz. She was not as developed as most of the other alters and from what the others have said and what I’ve read of her post, she didn’t even seem to realize she was an alter. Needless to say she merged into Tyrone, which at first surprised Me, but after having a meeting last night with the other main system members, it makes sense. Tyrone is basically the internal councilor type. He’s even helped me quite a bit and is very kind, yet direct and willing to be honest about a situation. Apparently he had talked to her about the system and informed her she was indeed an alter in a DID system (which he’s tried to explain to her before but she wouldn’t hear it aporently), and unlike previous attempts at educating her she actually accepted these facts this time. Over the period of about a few weeks to a month the merge happened between Dinah & Tyrone. Anytime there is a change in the system the fragments become very active, I get more flashback type episodes, and I feel a sense of sadness. But now that the merge is finally over, the fragments have not been active at all (at least from what I know), Tyrone willingly accepted her merging into him and she willing merged. - Liv
