"Um." She looked down at her armor and back at him. Maybe she was being too formal about this? She knew that there were a few rulers that liked being more casual in meetings, maybe she shouldn’t have worn this attire. Remembering the prior situation, she shook off the thought and cleared her throat.
"Uh, yes. There were a group of rebells causing a catastrophe this morning, and after capturing them, we found this." Flame Princess took out a silver box from her bag and opened it revealing a diamond. "We believe this is yours?"
Peridot's brows furrowed slighty when the box was opened. He leaned in closer to observe the diamond, his keen eyesight scanning the large shimmering jewel. He stood up straight, shifting his weight off his left side.
"Hm, yeah, that's my gemstone work right there, I vaguely remember cutting and faceting that diamond. But... How on earth did a group of rebels get their hands on it?" The question was more rhetoric than anything, and although the Prince was a little concerned about security breaches, he wasn't overly fussed about the whole issue.
"I appreciate your honesty and the fact that you thought to bring it here, that's very kind of you - oh, I've completely forgotten to ask - may I ask of your name?" His expression had softened back to a smile.
