They return to their town where their families lived after 9 years in exile~ the movie The Lovings is beautiful acted and portrayal of the quiet heroes who changed history! Every year Special Friend and I take a walk somewhere with our paper mache heads of this strong mixed race couple to bring awareness to this day~ June 12, 2018 we will stroll down Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn East to West (a mecca for interracial marriages or a pre-requisite to live in this borough 😂) to Prospect Park to have a picnic.
