Today is a Special day~ ♥️HAPPY LOVINGS DAY♥️! June 12, 1967 The Lovings, Richard & Mildred, won their case against the State of Virginia! Anti-miscegenation law illegal! They return to their town where their families lived after 9 years in exile~ the movie The Lovings is beautiful acted and portrayal of the quiet heroes who changed history! Hug the person you 💕 and be happy you have the FREEDOM to be with who you want. Every year Special Friend and I take a walk somewhere with our paper mache heads of this strong mixed race couple to bring awareness to this day~ June 12, 2018 we will stroll down Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn East to West (a mecca for interracial marriages or a pre-requisite to live in this borough 😂) to Prospect Park to have a picnic.
