But what's the deal with using "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing" as a metaphor for trans struggles?

I keep seeing the idea of wolves dressed like sheep being used in cute internet comics to represent trans people, and although the comics are really wholesome, I don't think that "Predators disgusting themselves as prey" as a metaphor for trans people is a good or even smart idea.

It all feels so stupid and poorly thought of. Something made to be sweetly sentimental, but that ends up being low-key transphobic.
