âBut what if I donât like beansâ is a very annoying phenomenon on the internet but may I propose an equally annoying phenomenon in the âyouâre not specialâ crowd.
I am so done with it.
I saw a video showcasing how early it gets dark in the UK in winter and the top comment was âclearly youâve never been to Canadaâ and when someone asked why that was a necessary comment they defended it with âthe English are acting like it doesnât happen all over, theyâre not specialâ.
It was educational and it said England because it was filmed in England, nowhere did it claim it was a unique feature of England. It just wanted to show what occurred in that location.
I saw another one showing the Red Bull F1 car making cool vortexes in the rain spray, just showing off some cool photos and saying âlook how cool this isâ. All the comments were going âall f1 cars do thatâ âthis isnât a new thingâ âthis isnât unique to them theyâre not specialâ.
Why do people act like someone showing something cool is an attack on them if it isnât focused on them?
Itâs just something cool. Itâs just someone showing something happening and saying âhey look at thisâ.
Iâm so sick of it. Not everything is about you. Just let people enjoy cool things.
