So, I personally don't view Snape as an FtM transperson. When I do hc Snape as trans, she is MtF.

As a little kid, Sev always liked spending time with the girls. They were nicer and not so rough. She wanted to be a girl too, just like Peggy and Mary and Elizabeth.
As she started getting older, her dad yelled a lot, especially when he found Severus's single Barbie doll. Severus wasn't supposed to play with girl toys.
Severus met Lily, and she made her first best friend. Lily shared her dolls and promised to never tell Severus's dad.
Come Hogwarts (and puberty), Severus struggled. She knew she was a she, but no one else seemed to care. So, Severus was shoved off with the rest of the boys.
Puberty made her hate her body even more. Her father tried to make her cut her hair short, but she fought that tooth and nail.
Lily found Severus crying in the bathroom one day and wouldn't leave until she knew exactly why. Severus came out to her.
Lily hugged her tightly and kissed his temple, "It's okay, Sev. You can be my sister instead of my brother."
"You aren't freaked by it? I don't think there's anyone else like me."
"Remember my Uncle Tommy?" Severus nodded, "Well, he used to be a Samantha. You're not alone, you're just trans."
Lily gave her one of her uniforms to wear and Severus would wear the skirt under tightly fastened robes.
After her worst memory, being in a skirt at the time, she stopped. She stopped trying to be a she. Dad was right, she was a freak and needed to start being a man.
In her 2nd year of teaching, Minerva helped Severus come out after she figured everything out. Minerva never misgendered her, went with her to her appointments to transition. Magic really worked wonders for transitioning, leaving her as a fully functional woman, like she should've been born.
Severus Tobias Snape was gone, instead Seraphina Minerva Snape taught potions. A beautiful, happier, young woman with an Alto voice.
