As spring approaches in season,
With colours, happiness, freedom,
With holidays, parties, picnics,
As if a new life gushes forward,
A new beginning running towards us,
A new start so refreshing and good.
Ahhh .. the wonders in the promises of spring.
As spring approaches in season,
Will it also be the time ..
For us to spring up our lives,
as we live, as we love, as we accept,
as we forgive, as we learn, as we let go,
as we start to live again – with radiance and might.
As spring approaches its season,
Shall we make a walk towards the unseen,
the spring of our lives ?
To live happily this life God has so mercifully blessed us with,
To love our mother, father, brothers, and sisters,
(and yes, our grandmothers and grandfathers too !)
To cherish our husband, wife, partner, in-laws, children, nephews, nieces,
To appreciate our girl friend, boy friend, best friends, good friends – all friends,
To acknowledge our colleagues, bosses, managers, customers,
all the people we have been blessed with,
all the people that makes life more colourful,
all the people that matters to us,
all the people that don't ?
As spring approaches its season,
Shall we take a leap towards the the spring within us ?
To accept the things we can't change, and change the things we can,
To forgive ourselves, the people who has hurt us, the situations we were put in,
To let go of the pain, suffering, hatred, regrets that effects our soul,
To put behind all the difficulties, trials, tribulations, resentments we can't forget,
To burn away all that separate us from achieving that one happiness we desire.
For right infront of us,
As spring is running towards us,
We have a deeper spring caressing us,
A spring that will invoke our mind,
A spring that will rejuvenate our body,
A spring that will love our heart,
A spring that will wake our soul,
A spring that will free our spirit.
A spring that promises only good
A spring that promises all good.
If only we take a step forward,
To meet with that spring – our spring of life.
