It's definitely not spring yet, but some little green things are poking their heads up anyway.
(repost from February 2015)
Sandra Law’s piece from last night’s Obsession Show at ArtBar. It is felt and foam core. She nailed it. Love it.
My display stands may be taking forever, but at least they'll be stunning! I have three of the left type for the 'bies and Whos/resin work and two of the right for flat art/zines. They're made out of foam core so incredibly light yet sturdy and I chose the dimensions carefully so that they can fit in a full sized luggage! All the stands come apart and the shelves fold flat. I need to finish up my signage which will be some packaging displays and faux banners to go over the stands for titles and prices! They'll stick in with skewers. Just maybe I can get everything done before Saturday!
Building display stands!

Foam Core Cutouts for Kids
Why do we use foam core instead of cardboard for our cutouts?
Foam core is more durable and sturdier than cardboard. This means foam core is better for long-term displays because it will handle more wear and tear.
Foam core weighs less than cardboard, making it easier to transport and set up. This is very useful for situations where the cutout needs to be moved around. Read More : https://www.mrprinter.ca/kid-s-cutouts.html

Man. Deadlines and real-life work can be a huge time suck…all that work just to pay some bills and a mortgage. My apologies for being less available on the blog here. I was really hoping to be more inclined to write daily…well, not daily but at the very least weekly, and that hasn’t happened. But, hey I’m here and spring training baseball games start on Sunday. It’s a great time to be…
