Today was weird. I got through it. Finished my first str and got it reviewed! Got my review notes back and the person that reviewed it said I did great for my first one. So happy about that. Kind of made my day despite everything else. All the interns had a volunteer event today. It started off really great. Some of the other interns are really annoying. They have this clique they've formed like they're in middle school. They're so immature. I'm over them. I go out of my way to be nice and they go out of their way to be rude so it's whatever. I'm just glad that my morning was very productive and I had a fun time volunteering and in some way I know I made someone else's day better and easier by participating.

Dang man I forgot to write yesterday. So I'll just write about both. Well yesterday was pretty awesome! My floor had a putt putt golf tournament around the whole floor. A lot of people participated, there were eight teams of four, eight holes. I will definitely always remember yesterday. I didn't play that well, I actually am not that great at golf but it was still pretty fun. I know I've probably said his before but the people I work with are so amazing. My team won best course design. (Yes every team had to design a course for their hole). I didn't help design my teams but we still won. I didn't really get much work done, didn't have much to do actually. It felt like a Friday. I just read articles on the company website. The work I did have, I finished up fast, like I did it right when I got into work. So today, pretty great as well. I learned a new task today! I was super excited and I'm so happy I did it right. I started learning another new thing but I found out I didn't have the access that I need yet so I had to pause on that. So instead I decided to just do some filing. A lot of people left work early and the office was kind of dead. I talked with one of my coworkers a lot about a bunch of different stuff so the time passed. Super glad it's the weekend!

Wow, so I'm in bed super early for once tonight and I'm soo happy! I get to catch up on some reading and get more sleep. Also waking up tomorrow shouldn't be so painful as it has been. Today at the internship things went well. Started some scanning for another coworker in my cube. Had a team meeting. Everyone is so funny. After that I had a meeting with my manager. We caught up on some of the initial work she had me doing my first week and I also asked her to update me on my progress and how I've been doing as an intern. She said I've been doing good so I'll take that and be a happy intern. After that meeting I had lunch with my sister, that was so relaxing. Later, I finished up the scanning and started working on the spreadsheet that my manager needed me to do. Tomorrow I'll continue doing that. Today went by so fast it felt like. When I first got to by desk I felt like I was going to die. I was so bored. Then I finally got up and just asked my other cube mate for some work, thus the scanning of docs. After work my sis and I exercised. Ran 2.50 miles and did some ab stuff. I'm so proud of us! Happy day.

I liked today. I was super busy. I didn't t have to constantly think about the time or how slow it was going by. In the morning I worked on some of my assignment some more. Around like late morning I had to go shadow an employee. I met this same employee on my first day. She's is so nice and cool. Getting to shadow her today was a great opportunity and experience. I'm super glad she reached out to me to set it up. I enjoyed learning about what she does and I really appreciated all the advice she was able to give me about my internship, school, and career. She took me to lunch and it was an Asian restaurant. I loved it. My food was good. I swear I burned my tongue three times today. Once from my coffee this morning, at the restaurant, and then earlier tonight when I warmed up a muffin. Anyways, after the shadow was over I went back to my floor and finished up my work. My coworker helped me and I met my first deadline I think. I'm happy I was able to finish my assignment. I leaned a lot while getting it all together and I enjoyed doing it. And I believe that's what it's all about. Enjoying what you do.

Soo today was super crazy. I didn't get to take my break and I didn't get to have lunch with my sister like I planned. My manager signed me up to go to this last minute event and I had to go. I was nervous about going at first but my coworker calmed me down. It was a great event and I'm glad I went. My manager introduced me to another employee. I was just so tired. I really needed my break today. Going straight through work for nine hours was a bit much. I have to say I learn a lot today and did a lot of new work but I just wish I hadn't been so tired. I feel like I would've been more aware, would've been able to listen better, and take good notes. I know down the line I'm probably going to have a ton of questions from everything I went over today with the coworker that's been training me. Other than that today was pretty good. Tried to park in a different parking lot today and I will never do that again. It was horrible. The walk was not worth the cheaper price. I know I should be trying to save money but my sis and I got so use to parking so close to the building and I just hate walking. I finished season three of grey's anatomy tonight and started season four. I'm happy I got to actually do something fun for once during the week. Hopefully tomorrow I can get back to working out. I feel so horrible for skipping days. Oh well, it's intern life. I almost forgot it was monday, that's how hectic today was. It felt like a wednesday or thursday.
