i always feel so stupid at my job even though iβve been working here for 4 + months already. at the start, i felt SO stupid for not knowing things and feeling incompetent everyday. i thought that things would be better once inget used to everything like the workload, how to do it, the place, the people, and even the miscellaneous work stuff to do.
but no, 4 months here and i still feel as stupid and incompetent as ever. and itβs worser now because itβs like βiβve been here for 4 months and i still dont know stuff here?β not only just awkward but dumb as hell. so at this point i dont even know if this IS a learning point in my life, i dont even know if this path is cut out for me
and ykw let me add in that im lonely asf here too. 0 friends. nice coworkers, iβve gotten used to them but im absolutely lonely and miserable. iβve never been so mundane before

Finished my second month of working as a doctor. There are still so many things I don't know and need to learn but I've found my stride (and crucially I now know who to call for what π).
I still have to stay late a lot but at least now I know where I can become more efficient or safe time on the long run.
Overall I'm just really happy with my specialty choice, this hospital and my coworkers. There are hard weeks but it's also a lot of fun.
Today I got thanked by two patients and told by a family member that they're sad I won't be their mom's doctor in rehab.
I'm so thankful that I found a good hospital where most of the time my patient load allows me to be the kind of doctor I want to be.

just a little venting, but as someone who has been an intern for the past 4 years, I'm so fucking glad that I'm getting a raise (paid internship) and I CANNOT WAIT to get my first full paycheck and I just wanna spend it on treating myself so hardddddd
new clothes, cosmetics and bedsheets and stuff for my son (cat)........ here we come!!!!
OH I JUST REMEMBERED I SAW A CLASSICS BOOK COLLECTION IN MY LOCAL BOOKSTORE AND THE COVERS HAD A FINE FABRIC ON THEM AND A PICTURE OF A PAINTING AND THEY WERE ALL WRITTEN IN THEIR ORIGINAL LANGUAGE AND I CANNOT WAIT TO GET MY LITTLE MONSTER PAWS (got it???) INTO A FRANKENSTEIN COPY!!!!!!!!
