A mural concept created for a Kraków-based trattoria serving Roman-style pinsa – Pinsaria 22.
The idea was to introduce a bold, playful visual language that brings warmth, openness, and a sense of joy into the space. Inspired by the ingredients themselves, the composition transforms food into abstract, graphic forms – vibrant, slightly imperfect, and full of life.
The large-scale typography anchors the design, while scattered organic shapes create movement and a light, almost celebratory rhythm. The color palette (deep black, tomato red, olive green, and lemon yellow) directly references Mediterranean cuisine, turning the wall into an extension of the menu.
The mural is designed to function both as a visual identity element and as an atmosphere builder – a backdrop that invites people in, encourages them to stay, and makes the experience feel casual, warm, and shared.
