#Repost @ukraine.ua with @use.repost_ . . . Air defence today depends on scale, speed, and cost as much as on powerful systems. Russia relies on mass drone attacks, targeting Ukrainian cities with hundreds of Shaheds in a single night and planning to increase these numbers further.
Traditional systems were not designed for this. A Patriot missile costs 4 millions, while the drones it intercepts are 40 times cheaper, making this approach difficult to sustain.
Ukraine has adapted by developing interceptor drones. It takes roughly $10,000 to stop a Shahed – a fraction of the cost of traditional systems.
Countries in the Middle East and other regions are already facing similar threats, where mass drone attacks require new approaches to defence.
Ukraine is open to real cooperation with its partners – an exchange of security, guarantees, and experience. Combining capabilities is what makes it possible to close the sky and better protect people, infrastructure, and cities.
