when you go out to shoot do you make a day of it? what is the normal duration between the shutter closing and posting it online (this blog or otherwise)? do you postprocess in lightroom or darktable at all? do you do a lot of photos of the same thing to get the "right shot" or do you take just one photo of a lot of varied things (or both depending on the subject)? is there a photo on this blog that you're especially proud of and perhaps an explanation of why? do you have a favorite color? what's your mother's maiden credit card number, and the last four digits of your dog
sometimes i do but most of the time it's just me bringing my camera wherever i go, i tend to prefer doing that rather than having a plan to shoot specifically this or that. well i used to post all the pics i took on the same day but nowadays i queue posts as to not annoy ppl with a pic spam... and i don't edit my pics at all! if i see something that really strikes me i will take a handful of pics to make sure i get the perfect shot but mostly i just take a single maybe sometimes double shot of any picture i take. hmm i like the deer skull shots i got during the eclipse, it was an interesting way to capture the moment i feel. my favorite color is orange! 36958076 and i prefer cats.
If you have youtube premium, the documentary "Kedi" is available for free. Wonderful documentary about cats in Istanbul

I was just comparing myself to others and got depressed about my personal accomplishments, would you mind giving me a pep talk and ruffling my hair about it
I guess my usual approach would be to give an anti-pep talk about how striving is futile and the most we can do is embrace the bitter taste of inevitable failure, but I suppose if I was a therapist I would gently probe into the underlying emotional need youāre trying to satisfy by accomplishing things.
there is always someone younger, someone smarter, someone more fortunate, but the rest of us still need to be doing our thing, if nothing else so that bastard has something to feel smug about.

why does he have a QWERTY keyboard if this takes place in nonspecific Slavic Country
This might shock and surprise you, but russian speakers still need a latin keyboard layout for things!11

pff what are they gonna do
No, like, I actually canāt implement DECTalk, Macintalk, and Microsoft Sam into my web app, because I donāt know how. Iāve googled a lot, but they arenāt open software; Iād have to like, reverse engineer them or something??
Trust me, I would do this if I can figure it out.

I feel like times new roman (and thus, most other serif fonts) have been associated with school essays and official briefings. sans-serif fonts feel more casual and friendly. Plus, MSword's switch to cambria in word 2007 probably helped.
I mean obviously Times New Roman has been overused but I like fonts like variations of Garamond, Palatino, etc. (Plus I always switch cambria to some sort of serif font since I donāt like cambria that much)

Sans-serif fonts are considered friendlier and more inviting. Especially that you brought up Google's logo change, that's the main reason they did it as far as I know.
Thatās weird because I always find certain serif fonts (not all, like not Times New Roman) friendlier-looking. Like the one used in headers for older Apple advertisements, I like that one. And I think Googleās old logo is more āfriendlyā, mostly since I think thereās more variation in serif logos so sans-serif ones end up looking the same. Thatās just me though. Obviously sans-serif has its place (like the main body of text on websites since itās more legible at smaller sizes) but Iād like to see serifs used a bit more in places where larger font sizes are used and legibility isnāt as much of an issue.
